The chances that I’ll
get around to writing about the new Pulp album are fairly poor, but since the
subject came up: you ought to buy the new Pulp album, We Love Life. It’s
tremendous. I don’t know if there’s a U.S. release date scheduled, but
it’s worth the import prices, which aren’t even that steep any more.
I’d even go so far as to say that We Love LIfe is a good starting
place if you haven’t heard Pulp before, since it grabs your attention a little
quicker than the band’s for-the-ages masterpiece, Different Class.
At any rate: I’m not going to get around to telling you elsewhere that We
Love Life is one of the better albums you’ll hear this year. But now
you’ve been told. Onward.
