I sleep more here then I do anywhere else, and I'm still sleepy. I'm pretty sure Grace is slipping something into the food.

i'm so glad i have a washer and dryer in my basement now. then again, all i ever do is wash one load of clothes whenever i'm running out of shirts or underwear or whatever. there are always at least three loads' worth that are sitting dirty in the hamper.

of course, this isn't really any different than it was before when i had to go to a laundromat to wash clothes.

My laundromat is about two blocks away, and I look awesome every Friday as I walk those blocks with 2 1/2 feet worth of laundry stacked on top of my head as though I were an African woman walking to the river. Except that I am a white guy walking down the streets of Toronto.

I just got a new canvas laundry bag with a strap attached to it; it's great!  I can sling it over my shoulder and everything!

Washing machines and by extension laundromats are bourgeois propaganda. I just stand in the rain with my clothes pegged to my arms. And I feel guilty about the fact that small irish children had to make the pegs for their supper.

In a show of solidarity for the proletariat, I have decided to put off doing laundry for another day.

Mine was from Bed, Bath, and Beyond.  I haven't bought a new laundry bag since I first went to college, because every time I'm about to do so, I think:  Really?  You're gonna pay X amount of money for a fucking bag?  WELL LOOK AT YOU MISTER ROCKEFELLER PAYING CASH FOR A DAMN SACK

But having shelled out the ten bucks, I'm really happy with the decision.

Screw insomnia, it's Friday night and I'm sitting in my apartment, drinking alone on the internets. I was watching TV halfassedly, but then I got bored with it and went all bourgeois and put on a jazz record and started reading about minimalism. But the beer kind of killed my attention span, so now I'm considering turning the TV back on.

And I need to take a shower before I go to bed which will require another hour or so of waiting for my hair to dry. Stupid hippie hair.

And that still doesn't explain the 30 lurkers, if that number is to be trusted. WTF do they think this is? A fishbowl for observing the lives of... uh... us?
