I was under the impression that you had to pay for the MobileMe service to get push email on the iPhone.

Interesting. Not where I am. On the other hand the service provider tried to spin the bloke some crap about push only working for POP accounts on the 'berry (yeah, right) unless he paid more money. Turns out the sales-dick was wrong.

Also, anyone who's not following LTPJ's JacobEvans (http://twitter.com/vumpire) needs to start immediately.

Hilarious. I got an email saying Mummy Crit is now following you on Twitter, and instead of thinking "oh, another bot", I thought "I wonder if that's Clare from LPtJ". Awesome!

Just want to highlight the fact that lastclearchance's most recent tweet is my favorite thing this week:

Because I still feel left out of all this twitter business, I'm thinking about transferring my microblogging habit over there, and then having twitter copy them to facebook.

Is there any practical reason to do this?

There's a few people who do that, like myself, pollo and coldforge.

I like to think of myself as an above-average microblogger. If I ain't got something interesting to say, I don't say anything.

That does not mean I would keep silent about the pie.

Yeah, I do that shit. There's really no reason not to. Well, I mean, it's all a matter of where you want to park your eyeballs. If you spend all your time on Facebook and don't have any social network on twitter, then there's no point. Me, I have twitter running in my IM window and I never go on facebook, so it's convenient. Same thing for Buzz, really.

I found GI on twitter

then I was looking through donblood's following list (poachin yer friends) to see if there were any LPTJers I'd missed and was surprised to see that he's following a friend of my brother and his wife, but then I realized we'd covered this convergence before

I don't think I found any LPTJers but I did find Weird Al Yankovic and NASA, neither of whom I was following, so cheers donblood

back atcha!  I forgot you know Leah, that's pretty awesome.  I've known her husband since The Day; he's a proud Masshole like myself.

NASA gets really twitter-happy on launch.  Last week my feed had about 20 straight posts from NASA, immediately followed by a friend saying "Eat a dick, NASA"

a correction: I do not know her personally.  But apparently she lives in Cary NC where my brother and his wife live and they know each other and have weird steampunk cosplay tea parties and shit.
