There's a whole mess of Pavement shows up on dimeadozen.org, including several from the current tour. There's also an MP3 version (allegedly from a better source than the dimeadozen recording) of the March 4 show here: http://sydneytapes.blogspot.com/2010/03/pavement.html.

This is exciting--there's a few songs in there I don't think I ever saw them play in the 90s.

Guys, I did it. I saw Pavement. At the Pitchfork Fest. I somehow made it like 5 rows from the front, right by Steve. Holy crap.

If I saw someone wearing that, I would just get really confused trying to figure out which classic NBA starting five you were enthusiastic about.

Hold on, I'm gonna figure this out.

I can think of Stephen Jackson and sorta Steve Smith on the '03 Spurs, but Steve Smith doesn't really belong in the starting five there, and even S-Jax is kind of a stretch...

A neat resource for following the reunion tour:

http://www.windowfruit.com/pavement2010/

Lists every show and includes links to write-ups, set lists, audio, video, etc, if it's available.

Only 1 more month to go! Eeeee!

Quote from: Malkie
so if you don't know of us, we're Pavement, and we were a popular -- or not so popular -- band in the 90s in the United States. I hear we're similar philosophically to Bob Hund, which is cool.

ONE WEEK!
I should probably do things like a) talk to my friend who is coming here because I think she's staying with me and stuff and 2) try to get the day off despite my PTO being all gone

I'm fairly certain that the best thing Jimmy Fallon has ever said is "The one, the only....PAVEMENT!"

Pavement's gonna be on TV in less than an hour! Psyched!

I spent maybe a year thinking Crooked Rain was my favorite Pavement album.

Now: Fuck that. Wowee Zowee all the way. Enormous ruins.

Eeeeeee! Pavement on TV!  Very Happy

That was great. Seein' those dudes all playing rock music.

They did "Unfair" and Bob sang most of it. There was a random contest winner dude who was getting to play the song with them but they ignored him pretty much completely. Ha. Pavement. Yes.
