Maybe it's not LPTJ, but rather LP TJ, promoting their music video

Goodness, there have been so many. Lately she's taken to giving dramatic recitations of things -- numbers, parts of the alphabet. She'll be in the high chair and I'll be doing dishes, and apropos of nothing, this deep, hoarse voice: "ooooooooone, twooooooooo, fweeeeeeeee" It's like a very tiny zombie counting the seconds until she leaps from her grave. There's something new every day, it seems. Wait till there are a few more toddlers around. We can do a whole 'baby says' thread.

Cool here's a couple from a while ago...

"Yes! I want a big one 'cos I'm a big boy, and big boys have BIG onions"

E: no thanks, I'm watching the woman watching her baby.

Lots of conversations about poo this morning, most of which revolve around me saying "Ok, time to change your nappy" and him saying "no, I'm *still* doing a poo" which is code for "not now, mum, I'm busy". The most recent one finished with me saying...

"Well, get on with it! And why is my empty mug over here?"
" 'cos it just is"

*sigh* at least he's "reading" to himself the narrative of which is "'We're coming to get you' said the monsters"...

Ian: "Daddy is trying to eat my face"

My mom: "Well you try to eat his face" *whips out camera*

I babysat my cousin's kids last night. While we were watching an episode of Gumby, the boy snuggled in my arm and said, in the sweetest voice imaginable, "I love you."

Later, when he found out that Iónot his mom, not his dadówas the one putting them to bed, he changed his tune: "I don't like you anymore."

That photo was taken at my mother's house. I suppose you can analyze my mother's DVD collection and extrapolate though.

Also there's a print of a Norman Rockwell painting on the wall, how you thought that belonged to anyone under the age of 60 I am not really sure.

Really? Close examination will reveal some Chuck Norris movies on VHS and also a DVD of National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets.

I used to have Firewalker on VHS, so I'm in no position to talk shit about that. National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets, though...who goes to a store and snags a DVD of National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets?

It may have been a gift. Nobody ever knows what to get him; he seems to have plenty of loud Hawaiian shirts, his collection of porcelain pig figurines has reached critical mass, and hey he liked the first one.
