I have been on a serious Jeezy kick recently.  Got Thug Motivation 101 on regular rotation in the car, and The Recession at home.  His voice on the latter is so awesomely raw, like he spent all day alternating between arbitrary screaming and huge blunts and then jumped in the booth.

I love Jeezy's voice. TM 101, The Inspiration and The Recession all make great driving-around music.

oh shit

[That "Throw It Up" track with Em and Gangsta Boo is pretty awesome. Em's verse is nuts.  I am also way into him reinterpreting swag rap cadences.]

re: jeezy's voice
whoever mixed his voice on the recession is a small hero. his rasp on that album is one of my favorite things in hip hop.
excited to hear yelawolf.

Yelawolf album is a really bizarre pop rap album. Kind of half terrible but the good half is so good.

Yep. I saw the Ft. Kid Rock credit and knew that this was not gonna be Trunk Muzik (which has stayed on constant rotation pretty much since it dropped). Sigh.
