I'm going to order one eventually; been going back-and-forth on which one to get. I'm leaning toward ambient drone shark.

Little known shark fact: in the dark, they make a clicking noise upon seeing a bird.

It's eating swedish fish! Cool. Love the viking shark gear. Not the beardlessness. As for the 40pounds...well, it's totally possible :-)

GHIGATRON requested a shark from Evan!!!
he or she or it has no posts but he or she or it requested SHARKTRON!
SHARKTRON is square in the middle of the requests list, and I just put two and two together just now. I have no idea when he will get to it. This is the greatest thing to ever happen to me, and it is not even happening to me.

HI GHIGATRON

Who is this GHIGATRON?

EDIT: Nevermind. I'm filing GHIGATRON under Wombats.

NP: Odd how Shark & Friends has changed my whole outlook. Now, when I watch Lil B's "I'm God" video, the first thing I notice is - HE'S GOT A SHARK HAT

GHIGHATRON is real, you disbelieving meatsack! How tragically fitting that human memory is as fleeting and frail as everything else human.

Oh man even GHIGHATRON couldn't withstand the great crash of 2007. I'm sad we lost the post where it said its birthday was:

Quote
BIG BANG. EVERY TIME UNIVERSE COLLAPSE GHIGHATRON GET HUG AND FIVE-DOLLAR BOOK TOKEN FROM GRANDMA.

or similar. I wonder who GHIGHATRON'S grandmother was.

Evan has started a Kickstarter, everybody. It has nothing to do with sharks and everything to do with cartoons about ex-strippers who are attempting to find other gainful employment. The Kickstarter went live about a half an hour ago, and even if you can't contribute AND I DO NOT EXPECT ANYONE FROM HERE TO AT ALL I am posting this here because you all seem to respond well to his work, and the trailer or whatever you call it is pretty great, and I am very proud of him:

Hey, tell Evan that someone I turned on to his tumblr was at Good Vibrations the other day (a worker-owned sex store in SF) and saw some sharks tattooed on the guy behind the counter. She showed him the shark site and he was crazy into it. So, heads-up for a "Good Vibrations Shark" request.

Does anyone here have any experience with Kickstarters? More specifically, does anyone have any idea how to get people to notice a Kickstarter besides being married to Neil Gaiman or being a bus driver who got yelled at by a bunch of kids?

Maybe try to get BoingBoing's attention by making this cartoon about rebelling against frivolous lawsuits/patent trolling. Or promoting Neal Stephenson/WillliamGibson/Things ending in punk.

Stripperpunk?

He did a David Bowie shark, I can't remember if there is a Freddie Mercury shark on the list or not. I did not even see this question two weeks ago, sorry.
ALSO THE WHY I CAME BACK INTO THIS THREAD:

Shark And Friends: The 30 Second Cartoon

Shark is voiced by: ME.
And no I do not sound like that regularly.
