ok yeah, the roybiggins song is definitely touching and sad in a wistful sort of way. and now i'm listening to coldforge's toadies cover, which basically sounds like my earth cds. and that rules.

Oh yeah, that pin immediately earned a place on my guitar strap.  I am now sporting: Jet By Day, Burning Airlines, "I Am Loved," The Mountain Goats - Tallahassee, Kranky, The Dismemberment Plan, and now LPTJ!

My messenger bag (shut up, I live in Williamsburgh, they're required by law) has three buttons, all homemade: tMG, the Gadsden Flag, and Katamari Damacy's King of the Cosmos.

I'm hoping I get my CD today, as -- after reading all your reviews -- I've gotten to the point where I'm now vibrating with excitement.

Maybe Davy should keep an eye for his local postal worker to either be walking around and/or driving (mine drive, some walk),  blasting someone do a beautiful rendition of "Voices Carry" ..well, then, at least the mystery will be solved. That's my theory: the post-person stole it.

You're probably right, 'cause I fuckin' SENT it. G'damned post office, I mean what kind of world do we live in where I can't even send a package in relative security that it'll actually GET there?!?! This situation is just like that movie! With Keven Costner! In which I mean it sucks alot and has been drawn out too long!

man, i'm really glad they came today. it really has elevated my mood astronomically. excitement over music made by people i interact with on a daily basis is so much better than impending doom.

Oh my god, I JUST got my CDs.  And I can't wait to listen to them.  And what was the "special item" included in the package?

Oh hell yes.

Oh hell yes.

Blake, I'll bet you didn't know that watching "Short Circuit" is what I did instead of making out with my date on Prom Night.  It ain't robot porn, exactly, but it's close enough for me.
