Spent the entire day inside, with the lady, cooking food and playing Katamari Damacy.  We're about to go out for Thai food, then come back and have "scary night" -- watching a horror movie and playing Fatal Frame.

Also, stingrays made me happy yesterday.

I went to this really secluded beach with a friend and just wandered around and talked about bullshit like sea-bears and what if the earth really was flat and then trespassed on parts of the beach that're owned by super rich people and threw things into Lake Michigan and it was really nice.  That made me happy.

Dinner with mom, Tita Alice and siblings at Cafe Intermezzo.  I had: Black Bean Burger w/ monterey jack on honey wheat toast.  Lettuce and tomato, of course.  Herdinger-Dunkel Hefe-Weisen.  Dessert was raspberry/blackberry/cranberry topped cheesecake with a pot of vanilla chai.  Wonderful meal and good company with family.

and where exactly is this place? because that combines pretty much 6 of my favorite favorite food items all in one. well, the vanilla chai and cheesecake being separate, but still.

It's on the big main Peachtree St. in downtown Atl.  There are actually two--one's up in Dunwoody, but you don't want to go to Dunwoody.

I doubt it.  That would be all too perfect.  Then again, I don't think smoked salmon and a shiraz is a meal you can really ring up to your loft.

huh. no shit. i had no idea. how the hell does she manage to still set up the shows from five states away?

Leigh is magical.  Also blessed with lots of homies in her hometown.  And she flies into town for every M-OP.

Today, nothing is making me happy except that ol' stalwart sugar-free Red Bull, knowing I'm going to clean my house today and tomorrow, and going to see Mike Doughty and Orenda Fink tonight.
My hands are cold.  Oh god, how I detest fall/autumn/sweater weather.

Is Katamari out on X-box?

I love fall weather. It makes me lonely and not-lonely all at the same time. I think I'm going to see if my friends just want to walk around DC this weekend.

TSKS, how is the weather in Richmond? I imagine that it is awesome if not for all the rain.

been raining for DAYS. it never does this, which is why i usually love the weather here, so i'm hating it. i mean, it's cool on days when it's just cloudy, but the constant drizzle for three days has just been bumming me out. you can't sit out on porches when all the seats are wet.
