I only had my camera phone, so the only other picture is a closeup of the mead.  sorry!  perhaps GregNog can be induced to draw a quick sketch of the death ray at Alexandra's place of work.

also, hannah, sorry!  are you still around?  we could have a more fabulous picnic some evening this week...

I hitch a ride to Chicago on a plane-thing from LaGuardia tomorrow at 1pm. So, alas! But I'm back circa Halloween. Yes. I think. I hope.

Not going to be posting much for a while, but I'll take this photo-thread moment to say the people in New York, LPTJ and all others, are fantastic and also awesome.

Oh, here is a "bored photo":

This is from Sunday's NY Times. That is David Wain. And Ken Marino in the black shirt and jeans and white/black sneakers. And, if you look in the upper left, I'm the one in the purple shirt, bad posture, and black bun/white neck. YES I AM FAMOUS WHAT NOW SON

Dear Pollo,

Mr. Wain is responsible for Wet Hot American Summer and The State.

Get a clue,

M

Mr. Wain is apparently also responsible for Stella.
I rest my case,
M

PS. DO YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE DP STANDS FOR

Dear Pollo,

Mr. Wain could produce a remake of Ishtar starring Paris Hilton and Keven Federline and he still would be redeemed by Wet Hot American Summer and The State.

Get a clue,

M

P.S. OF COURSE I KNOW WHAT ELSE DP STANDS FOR. DO YOU WANT ME TO DEMONSTRATE?

Indeed it does not surprise, as you've mentioned that no less than five times previously.

I should point out that I really like the TV show Stella; I could take or leave most of the shorts.  It seems like most of those just turned into gigantic festivals of dick jokes, whereas the network restrictions forced them to find humor in other less offensive stuff.  Like blackface, for example.

death ray at my work is featured above.

my "office" (it's not really an office, but an open space on the edge of the loft) is about 3 feet to the left of where the above picture was taken from.

Road rash:

(keep in mind these were even gnarlier a couple days ago)

forearm

shoulder

head

perhaps clearer view of head

my head looked way, way worse, but the swelling has gone down considerably and the bruise isn't as bad either. and i wiped off the blood.
