but as it turns out, I have something else to say, too.
It’s been amusing (if somewhat depressing to the point
of gun-muzzle-soda-straw tempting) to hear the same people who
would not have dropped trou to consider pissing on Lifter Puller
had they been on fire (which, take notes, they fucking were)
now lining up to eat frosting off of the Hold Steady’s
ass. What was everybody waiting for: permission?
