Dance Tonight! Revolution Tomorrow! isnt going to change the world or anything; the mosh-crew critics are right when they accuse emo of not really having much of a point. But if you havent heard what these sorts of bands do, you should. Its worth the twenty minutes itll take you to get your flesh charred by Orchids guy-going-crazy routine. It will wake up the neighbors if you turn it up loud. Its primal and abrasive in the manner of great rock and roll. If you already dont like emo, this wont change your mind, but if you dont know how you feel about the all-screamers subdivision of the emo league, then Orchid is a great, incredibly loud place to start. |
