| They don’t have
a new album out. I don’t know if or when they will. There are
rumors of heavy drug use and a preference for the hard stuff, and
nobody who’s seen them play doubts it for even a minute. They
are a volatile band. An album called Dopesick is generally
acknowledged as their masterpiece, but what I’m listening to
at the moment is their 2000 opus, Confederacy of Ruined Lives,
whose title kicks Batman’s ass and whose approach is a little
less user-friendly than that of Dopesick. |
