Listening to him is like falling asleep while driving, insofar as the good feeling of falling asleep is, while driving, intensified by the danger inherent in the act of doing so. You feel the sleep, or the sound, coming on, and you know what’s going to happen might effect some change on you -- but you want to indulge the feeling for just a moment, because it feels so delicious, so singular, so good. If you’re driving, you’ll soon be dead, and I don’t suppose any of us really know whether the payoff is then worth the cost. If you’re listening to Axene, what happens next is that your atmosphere is transformed.
