Black.” From Tumult’s remarkable Painted Black compilation,
on which eleven artists cover a Rolling Stones song in the true sense
of the word “cover”: you can barely even see the song
in question at all most of the time, and the fog through which you
get to peer is dense and magnificent. Acid Mothers Temple understand
that to really pull off the psych-jam, what you have to do is convince
the listener that everybody in the band is clinically insane. |
