to get very busy around the house here. Without going into unnecessary
and self-serving detail about it, I’m going on tour. That’s
exciting, but I’m quite excitable enough as it is, so more excitement
tends to heat up the circuits rather a lot. I get nervous watching
episodes of Law and Order that I’ve already seen a dozen
times. Throw in twenty or so dates in the space of a little over a
month, and my ability to focus gets diminished. There’s a bunch
of stuff going on, I mean, and while I figure that somewhere in the
midst of things I’ll find my calm center once a week and maintain
it long enough to update Last Plane to Jakarta from wherever
I happen to be, the fact is that for the moment what I need is to
relax. Which should mean that I’m about to launch into
a panegyric on the excellence of the KLF’s Chill Out,
but I’m not, so I hope you didn’t give odds on the proposition. |
