So it happened that from about 7:15 until about 7:40, I found myself listening to the second song on the record. Like so many krautrock albums, Join Inn prides itself on the length of its songs; I’m not sure if this is a macho thing or what, but anyhow the first track runs just under twenty minutes and the second one runs close to half an hour. That second one is called “Jenseits,” and it’s the song you have simply gotta hear if you want to survive the winter. |
