gizmos in my time -- Game Boys, Bop-Its, Roland SPD-6 percussion
pads, laser-pens with optional but crucial Crazed Cat accessories
-- and I am here to tell you that the iPod ranks with the best of
them. It slices, it dices, it rolls on its belly like a reptile.
I skipped breakfast and most of lunch just to keep up the file-transferring
pace, and I haven't even used the damned thing to play any music
