Jason Loewenstein has probably spent the last couple of years asking himself: “What just happened?” He’d played in Sebadoh, a band that seemed to matter quite a bit to a lot of people in all kinds of out-of-the-way places; then all that was over. On this point at least we are in agreement with the Permanent Bearers of the New Guard. Whatever it was that Sebadoh had been doing, that was over.
