Even those of us who are ninety-odd percent convinced that the whole Christian thing is a huge sham hope that somewhere in the universe there’s something very like The Movie At the End of Your Life, and that we’ll get to see it at least once. Some of us are mainly excited about the reception in the lobby afterwards. Not me. When I die, I hope to learn that the celestial theater at which my movie’s showing is, in fact, not just like the Cinema Movie Theater in Grinnell but is in fact the very same place, and that the soundtrack for that part of the film that covers the period spanning July through September of 2002 is Dark Tranquillity’s Damage Done.
