I figured that Snoop would be starting the song out with its untouchable
opening phrase and then launching from there into his own rap. But
no: "cause ain’t nothin’ but sweat inside my hand," he
said, and then "so I dig into my pockets, all my money is spent/so
dig deeper, but still comin’ up with lint." Wait a minute,
wait a minute, I thought. He’s not re-sampling that bass line:
