THE MUSIC that we are talking about today is the album Gateways to Annihilation, which is their seventh album unless you you count Abominations of Desolation which you shouldn’t because those are just demos! The first album is Altars of Madness. Although, that is a shame because Abominations of Desolation is a much better title than Altars of Madness and so Altars of Madness should have been the title for the demos which would have left the cooler title for the first album. But, whatever! As soon as Gateways to Annihilation came out you could hear the people in the metal press wanting to compare it to the early stuff. Now that would have been discouraging except that you & I both know what that is all about!
