| Just when you think you’ve got
this whole The Future Is Now thing licked, something like this
comes along. The dizziness returns, and the feeling that you’re
not sure where the ground really is comes back to you like reality
interrupting a dream. You wonder -- or, at any rate, I wonder -- whether
somebody just made the whole story up to see whether people are really
that gullible. I mean, it can’t be, can it? Is it really true:
that Michael Jackson, the guy who’s made more profit from the
music business & all its shady ways than any other guy in the
whole history of the world, is complaining about the shady way in
which the music business does business? |
